How your money helps
£1,000
could fund our vital online service Dementia Support Forum for one day day.
Sometimes the best support can come from someone in the same situation as yourself. Dementia Support Forum is the online community where people can connect over dementia 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They'll be welcomed and supported by a community who understand their experiences.
£2,000
could help 1,212 people access support through our online Dementia Directory.
The Directory is an incredibly easy to use online tool that can connect people to the right support within their local area. Used by Dementia Advisers and the public, this critical resource means people can access the best support throughout their dementia journey.
£5,000
could fund a Research Nurse for a month and a half.
With over 160 clinical trials currently taking place for Alzheimer's disease treatments, it's never been more important to get the right people involved. Research Nurses aim to increase the number of clinical trial participants and the diversity of participants to fully understand the effectiveness of treatments in a wide range of people.

1 in 3 people born in the UK today will develop dementia in their lifetime. Alzheimer’s Society vows to help end the devastation caused by dementia, but they need our help. That’s why I’m taking on London Marathon for Alzheimer’s Society and would be so super grateful if you’d kindly support me by making a donation on my page: (fundraising page).
The countdown is on!
(Weeks/months until your event) today I’ll be taking on London Marathon. I’ve got lots of training ahead of me, but your donations will make all the hard work worth it. I’m doing this for Alzheimer’s Society, the UK’s leading dementia charity. If you’d like to sponsor me I’d be so incredibly grateful (fundraising page).
Make that final push for fundraising
Been meaning to donate to my fundraising page but not got round to it? Never fear, there’s still plenty of time! Pounds or pennies, it’ll all help me achieve my fundraising goal and ensure Alzheimer’s Society can be there around one million people living with dementia in the UK. You can sponsor me here: (fundraising page).
Thanking your donors
Thank you (donor name) for kindly sponsoring me! By donating to Alzheimer’s Society for me you’ve done something truly amazing for people affected by dementia. I hugely appreciate your very kind support.
